I had my second quarter visit with the Oncologist. The visit went good overall, the Dr. says that I look great and have rebounded physically
very well from the chemotherapy. Most of my symptoms of the chemo have subsided. However, my CEA continues to be high (4.7 this time).
The Dr.says that he is convinced that it is not any cancerous activity that is driving this number up. They aren’t sure what might be causing the elevated count at this point. They have committed to me that they will do some research and get back with me on why this continues to be an issue in my blood count.

I am moving forward trying not to think too much about it at this point
but it will be good to know what is causing it.
