So France is so absolutely caught up in their own national pride and hatred for America that they are doing everything they can to prevent Lance Armstrong from riding in the Tour this year. They are so offended that an American has dominated the Tour for so many years and they can’t stand it.

Like him or not, his comeback this time provides a world-wide face to the fight against cancer. His foundation is raising millions for the fight and his absence in the Tour will impact the visibility to this problem as well as money raised.

France needs to get over their feelings of inferiority and see the bigger picture.
